Katie Picking is the Director of Conrad Carlile. Katie is dedicated to providing professional services to a diverse client base in Brisbane, as well as across regional and rural Queensland.
Having been raised on cattle and sheep properties, Katie is passionate about the beef and sheep industries and has developed extensive experience within these industries, making her a valuable source of knowledge for clients. She currently owns and operates an organic beef property outside Quilpie in south west Queensland.
With over 20 years experience advising businesses, Katie offers her valuable expertise in business structures, taxation strategies, business growth and succession planning, as well as areas of superannuation.
Kirsty began working for Conrad Carlile in 2008 when the firm opened an office in Gatton. She spent the first couple of years working closely alongside Katie to manage and develop the business, form strong client relationships, and recruit and train the Conrad Carlile staff.
After graduating from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Business Law) with a distinction, Kirsty moved into a full time accounting role with Conrad Carlile in Gatton before relocating back to our Brisbane office in 2014.
Kirsty is dedicated to delivering efficient, reliable and timely service to our clients. She enjoys advising a wide variety of clients and likes to work closely and proactively with clients to provide practical solutions, helping them to achieve their personal and business goals.
Toolah Olsen is a Chartered Accountant and has been with Conrad Carlile since 2002.
She has had several accounting roles, including auditing of large corporations whilst working with the now KPMG, as well as tax advice and tax planning for businesses and farming enterprises. These roles have provided Toolah with an extensive knowledge of how successful businesses should operate.
The diversity of our clients and the solid relationships and rapport Toolah has built with our clients over several years has given her extensive experience to provide practical tax and accounting advice.
Karen Cole has been working as an accountant for Conrad Carlile since 1979.
She has extensive experience in tax compliance, self-managed superannuation and accounting for a wide variety of businesses and high net worth individuals.
Karen’s long term service to our business has proved invaluable in helping us understand the history of our clients.
Monika Ciez qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in January 2012 just before the birth of her second son, and has worked part time for Conrad Carlile since January 2014.
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from the University of Adelaide in December 2005, Monika has proven her ability and knowledge in the accounting sector. She has held several accounting roles, mainly in the area of business services and private clients, and across many sectors, including health, professional services, real estate, hospitality, retail & exports, high net worth individuals and family business.
Monika specialises in the area of taxation compliance, including GST, fringe benefits tax, capital gains tax, as well as business structuring and succession planning.
Monika prides herself on working with clients to build trust and ensure the desired tax and business outcomes are achieved.
David Fowler is a member of CPA Australia and has worked at Conrad Carlile for 2 years. He has 16 years experience in the accounting industry and enjoys looking after a wide and varied client base including primary producers, retailers, construction industry and self managed superannuation funds.
David is passionate about providing expert accounting and taxation advice to achieve our clients business and personal goals.
Sara Beckett completed a Bachelor of Business and Commerce with a Major in Accounting in November 2017. Accounting isn’t boring!! There is always something new to learn when completing and assisting on client jobs. She loves learning and is constantly gaining new knowledge every day.
Sara enjoys the opportunity to interact with clients and provide the personable service Conrad Carlile prides itself on. She has hit the ground running at Conrad Carlile, the support and mentorship she received from her peers is amazing.
Felicity Rident-Tiercelet has worked in administration with Conrad Carlile for five years. Her previous experience includes international banking, catering and event co-ordinating, as well as administration roles for small businesses.
Felicity’s extensive experience in various industries has enabled her to understand the importance of excellent customer service to meet our clients’ needs.
After 46 years as a primary school teacher, Annette Picking recently hung up her teaching hat and has joined our firm to work in administration on a part-time basis.
